These grilles utilize a split-vane design that produces diverging air streams resulting in rapid temperature equalization. The SDMTRJ Roto-Jet® drum grilles also let you adjust the throw lengths based on the amount of convergence resulting from the vane settings.

The outer borders of the unit are 1-1/4” wide and constructed of heavy-gauge extruded aluminum
Installs directly on spiral ducts without the use of duct taps
Felt seal between the drum and border prevents leakage and holds the drum securely

Product Application

Experience greater space comfort through rapid temperature equalization with our model SDMTRJ Roto-Jet® drum grille. The split-vane design facilitates instantaneous mixing of primary and room air, resulting in improved thermal comfort. This exceptional solution allows adjustable air flow pattern in both horizontal and vertical planes. It is an excellent fit for large, conditioned spaces requiring long throws, like theaters, arenas, convention halls, factories, and shopping centers.

Suitable for installations where the conditioned space is large
Standard finish is Mill (ML)
The outer borders are curved to match the specified duct diameter, available in 2” increments
Recommended duct opening should be listed width plus 1/2" and listed height plus 1/2"
The frame is of the universal type, being able to be mounted directly to the side of ductwork of varying diameters without the use of saddle type taps or others of similar function

The rotating barrel is adjustable to permit the projection of air 30° above or below the length of the unit, or 60° total
Damper-Extractor (DMPX) is available as an accessory
Available lengths are 12", 18", 24", 30", 36", 42", 48", and 60" for each drum size
The ends of the barrel are provided with removable pattern controllers to ensure positive response when pattern adjustment is needed
All frame joints are to be mechanically fastened
