Security Grilles

Ideal for both supply and return applications, the SG700 security bar grilles feature a frame constructed of 1/8” extruded aluminum. This makes them best suited for minimum-security applications, particularly for areas with high humidity—bathrooms and showers.

The blades are spaced on 1/2” centers with 0-degree deflection
Bar grille consists of 3/16” x 3/4” welded aluminum bars, 1/8” aluminum frame
The grille can be used for both supply and return applications

Product Application

Model SG700 is an industry-leading security grille, specially designed for areas with supervision that still require security. It has an all-welded construction that provides sturdiness and comes with optional aluminum security bars of 1/2” diameter on a maximum of 6” centers for added protection.

Features

All-welded aluminum construction
The 1/2” diameter x 3” long aluminum bars on a maximum of 6” centers are positioned 3” from back of face plate on top and bottom of sleeve
Aluminum opposed blade damper (ADFO - face operated or ADRO - rear operated) is welded into sleeve
The finish is White (WH). Also available in Mill
The sleeve is stitch welded to the face and along the seams of the sleeve
Tested in accordance with ANSI/ASHRAE Standard 70-1991 at isothermal conditions

Angle frame is shipped loose and unpainted for field mounting
Security bar grid is tack welded twice at each intersection and welded completely around at the sleeve joint
Product available in 2” increments only
The blades are reinforced by an aluminum tube spaced no greater than 6” on center
The sleeve is available in 6”, 8”, 10”, 12” & 18” lengths
