It helps in regulating lateral spread of the discharge air, rate of diffusion and mixing, and distance of throw resulting in optimum comfort for the occupants. It is well suited for facilities like shopping centers, convention halls and factories that have large areas to be conditioned.

Features

Consists of heavy-gauge extruded aluminum frame and rotating barrel
Integral dampers – steel blades in a rigid steel frame. Integral damper should be used only when static pressure is 0.25 inches wc or less
The unit employs aluminum construction with some steel hardware and one bank of individually adjustable blades (MTRJ)
All frame joints are to be mechanically fastened

Extruded vanes are spaced on bolt pivots to firmly hold deflection settings. vanes pivot easily to reduce maximum throw by 35%
The rotating barrel shall be adjustable to permit the projection of air 30º above or below the length of the unit
Adjustment of vanes may be used to vary the lateral spread of the discharge air, rate of diffusion and mixing and distance of throw
Dampers (where required) are constructed of heavy-gauge steel
