Offering curved aluminum blades that are individually adjustable, the A40 Vertical Blades comes in various sizes ranging from 6"x4" to 36"x36" for 1-way and 2-way, 6"x6" to 36"x36" for 3-way and 4-way, and features a 1-1/4" nominal overlap margin.

Curved face blades on 1" centers firmly hold deflection setting with the help of friction load
Can be adjusted to provide a full or partial downblow or be configured to provide a horizontal discharge pattern
Available in White (WH) electrocoat finish

Features

In the horizontal discharge position, the blades are adjusted to a uniform, partially closed position to deflect the air path while retaining an effective area capacity of 35%
1-way ceiling supply grilles and registers are recommended for applications in ceiling and sidewall locations for heating and cooling systems operating at .75 to 1.75 CFM per square foot of room area
Multi-shutter damper (MSDM) is painted to match unit
Optional aluminum opposed blade damper (AOBD) is factory mounted and screwdriver operated from face of grille (optional steel SOBD)

In the full downblow position, the effective area of the grille is increased to 75%
2, 3 and 4-way grilles and registers are recommended for applications in ceiling locations for heating and cooling systems handling 1.0 to 2.0 CFM per square foot of room area
Aluminum opposed blade damper (AOBD) is Mill (ML) finish
Optional aluminum mounting frame (A45) available for use in plaster applications
