Ideal for medium and maximum-security applications, SG400 grilles are designed with two face plates welded to each end of the sleeve for block wall applications. The 5/16” round holes ensure maximum airflow while inhibiting the concealment of dangerous items and contraband.
- Face plate is composed of 3/16” steel with 5/16” diameter round holes on 7/16” staggered centers and 1” border
- Sleeve is constructed with 3/16” steel and is available in 6”, 8”, 10”, 12” and 18” lengths
- Anodic acrylic paint electrocoat finish ensures durability of the product
Product Application

This perforated grille provides protection for your medium to maximum-security facilities with the added benefit of smooth flow of large volumes of air. It prevents damages caused through access to the ductwork and restricts the concealment of dangerous objects. It will give effective protection in facilities like prisons, psychiatric hospitals, schools, and sports venues.
Features
- Available sizes are 6”x4” to 30”x30” in 2” increments. 9”x9” is the only odd size available
- The standard finish is White (WH) or Mill (ML)
- The grille offers optional steel anchor bars (AB) of 3/4” diameter x 3” long that are positioned 3” from back of face plate on top and bottom of sleeve
- The sleeve is stitch welded to each face and along the seams of the sleeve
- The electrocoat finish is in an anodic acrylic paint baked at 315°F for 30 minutes with a pencil hardness of HB to H
- Available optional steel security bars (SB) of 3/4” diameter on a maximum of 6” centers that are tack welded twice at each intersection and welded completely around at the sleeve joint
