Plenum Slots
An efficient method of releasing air into the ceiling plenum, HIDR diffusers consist of a return section attached to the supply diffuser. These diffusers comprise extruded aluminum curved blade pattern controllers that project a tight horizontal pattern across the ceiling.
- Exposed surfaces and pattern controller of the plenum slot diffuser is in Black (BL)
- Accessories include factory mounted T-bars
- Contoured blades in the horizontal supply slots create high induction
Product Application
Often, there are specific areas in buildings that regular diffusers may not be able to ventilate. Our HIDR high induction diffuser is the perfect solution to this problem. They are designed to provide airflow to tricky areas that are hard to reach, like recessed windows and under bulkheads. The robust construction and unique design make these diffusers perfect for systems with variable air volume and perimeter zones.

- Single slot has 3/4” slot width, while return slot has 2” width
- HIDR has a steel construction with steel pattern controls
- Factory mounted T-bars are available as an optional accessory
- The standard finish is Black (BL) exposed surfaces & pattern controllers with white optional tees
- Standard nominal lengths are 24”, 36”, 48” and 60”
- They are designed for standard lay-in T-Bar ceiling systems
- Optional plaster frame (PF) available for sheetrock and plaster ceilings
